Overview
Tropical is one of Costa Rica's most popular beverage brands. For this class assignment, I designed a billboard and rear bus ad for Tropical's new zero-calorie peach tea.
Approach
As this was another fictional summer campaign, I wanted to bring the product to the consumers' activities in a conceptual way. I found a relationship between summer activities and floating. The idea was to exaggerate the peach tea as ''so light in calories it could float''.
Given that the campaign was promoting a new product, using the real bottle photos, as well as images of fruit and tea leaves, would be more effective to reach a massive audience. I illustrated the bottom of a pool and played with the objects' shadows to make the bottle and elements appear ''so light they could float''.
